Get some exercise outdoors

Hey guys, need one more reason to get outside and enjoy being active?

This article from Healthfinder.gov shows how far regular exercise can go toward lowering your risk of prostate cancer … and even if you do eventually develop this disease, exercise is associated with a less aggressive form of it.

“U.S. researchers looked at 190 men who had a prostate biopsy and found that those who were moderately active — anything equivalent to walking at a moderate pace for several hours a week — were significantly less likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer.”
The majority (58 percent) of the men in this study were sedentary, which means they exercised less than the equivalent of one hour per week of easy walking.

So don’t feel like you have to really become a super athlete to get the benefits of activity. Just get outside as often as possible and take a good walk, or some other activity that you enjoy.
