Just asking … Do You Stretch Your Hips?

If you sit for any length of time at all, the inner muscles of your sacral area in and around your hips will shorten and tighten. But why do we care? This can lead to back pain, knee pain, hip pain, and hamstring strains.

So my question is, do you do hip-opening stretches?

For me, I found that once I started doing stretching to open my hips, my chronic lower back pain has almost completely vanished.

Here’s a great article showing the stretches you can do to open those hips, and give your back a break!
