Taste Challenge And Become A Sensual Eater (with chocolate)
To become a sensual eater is to pay attention to your senses when you eat. When you do that, you become a conscious eater who is aware of the flavors, aromas, and textures of your food.
This process changes you, from the inside out. When you take your time, taste your food, and become conscious to it, you can’t eat nasty foods because … they’re nasty.
In this way, you begin to choose better foods not because I told you to, but because you like them better. At that point, you’re not on a diet. You’re just living your life.
This horizontal taste challenge is an exercise in learning to become a more sensual eater.
Tips:
- • The more you taste, the less you are hungry for. The less you taste, the more you are hungry for.
- • Tasting flavors is a life skill that we have largely forgotten, and need to remember.
- • Love is not consumption. If you love your food, really, take your time and taste.
- • Your taste buds are only at your tongue. If you pack your mouth, you don’t taste 90% of it.
- • Gobbling food is a stress response. Don’t eat while stressed. Just relax for a second. Breathe.
