Control Portion Distortion (with chocolate)
Chocolate can help control portion distortion at the plate. NOTE!! A key to making this work is to use chocolate with higher cocoa content. The effect will be stronger, as the cocoa content is higher.
By having a small piece of rich high-cocoa chocolate wonderfulness as the STARTER to your meal, 30 minutes before you eat, cocoa’s vegetable oils, fiber, and protein help dial down your drive to over-consume before dinner ever even gets going!
Tips:
- • The amount we are hungry for is greater than the need. Train your high-volume consumption down.
- • All food is good for you, if eaten in control. All food is bad for you, if over-consumed. Keep your food good for you.
- • When you live a lifestyle of health, you will eat ALL YOU WANT. You’ll just want less.
- • Pace controls portions at the plate. Take your time. Be a conscious, sensual eater.
- • Practice listening to your body’s signals. They’re there. Be still in your mind and you will hear them.
