* Your core issue may be nutrition … maybe.

* Your core issue may be stress … maybe.

Or it could be some combination of those. But how would you know? And if you have a program that just addresses diabetes without this critical drill-down, the impact of the program will decrease.

A solution to overcome this is to correlate behavioral data from a Health Risk Assessment (HRA) with the clinical data from a claims or biometrics report.

This “behavior x condition” layering can show how much a given clinical condition is driven by a certain behavior, so you can target the real issue right away, creating a more efficient and effective program.

Specifically, overlaying clinical and behavioral data allows care management coaches to get a more granular picture to inform their intervention.

Think of the difference this would make for the organization by delivering exactly the exact solution that each member needs for his or her particular condition. This could give them the certainty they need to move forward with a proactive program.
