Foods with Vitamin CYou know those mega doses of vitamin C you’re supposed to take to fight off a cold?

I guess you can file them away with the 64 ounces of water we were told to drink every day, Egg Beaters, and diet sodas.

  • Do you need ongoing food sources of vitamin C? Yes.
  • Do you need to carpet bomb your system with it? No.

Preventing colds is more of a long term thing. Laughing daily helps. Mindful behaviors help. Eating real food, mostly veg, in control … it helps!

And oh, this turns out to be basic tenets of a Mediterranean lifestyle approach to wellness.
