But it can&#8217;t cure all of them. You still need\u00a0to move and be active. Crazy right?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/27648287\">This study<\/a>\u00a0looked at 3,358 young people (between 18 and 30 y.o.) with prediabetes, and then followed up 25 years later. They wanted to see whether the people with diabetes later on were\u00a0also fit, or ate a Mediterranean style diet. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Results? Being fit was associated with reduced risk of diabetes. The miraculous Mediterranean diet was neither here nor there. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">But here&#8217;s the real magic. Eating real food, in control,\u00a0and moving every day together\u00a0decreases\u00a0your risk of bad things happening to your body and increases your risk of good things.
