It can easily be made in bulk so invite the friends and family over.<\/p>\n<p><b>You\u2019ll Need:<\/b><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5301 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.willclower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/tortellini-224x300.jpg?resize=224%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mymedwellness.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/tortellini.jpg?resize=224%2C300&amp;ssl=1 224w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mymedwellness.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/tortellini.jpg?resize=768%2C1028&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mymedwellness.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/tortellini.jpg?resize=765%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 765w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mymedwellness.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/tortellini.jpg?w=956&amp;ssl=1 956w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 Tablespoon olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 medium onion, chopped<\/li>\n<li>2 garlic cloves, crushed<\/li>\n<li>1, 10 ounce package frozen chopped spinach<\/li>\n<li>29 ounces of chicken or vegetable broth<\/li>\n<li>14.5 ounce can of diced tomato or 1 fresh tomato, diced<\/li>\n<li>9 ounces of packaged of tortellini of choice<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd Tablespoon dried basil<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of crushed red pepper<\/li>\n<li>Salt and Pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>Freshly grated Parmesan or Romano cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a large pot heat olive oil over medium heat.<\/li>\n<li>Slightly lower heat. Add crushed red pepper to your liking, the onion and garlic saut\u00e9 until garlic is infused (approximately 5 minutes).<\/li>\n<li>Next add the spinach, tomato and broth.<\/li>\n<li>Heat to boiling and then reduce heat to low.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in tortellini, and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the tortellini is cooked to desired tenderness.<\/li>\n<li>Season with the basil, salt and pepper.<\/li>\n<li>If you would like you can serve topped with some freshly grated Parmesan, or Romano cheese.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"border-radius: 2px; text-indent: 20px; width: auto; padding: 0px 4px 0px 0px; text-align: center; font: bold 11px\/20px 'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,sans-serif; color: #ffffff; background: #bd081c no-repeat scroll 3px 50% \/ 14px 14px; position: absolute; opacity: 1; z-index: 8675309; display: none; cursor: pointer;\">Save<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Mediterranean inspired recipe is so easy to make and will easily become a staple in your kitchen.
