MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/mlcmmqmgggev.i.optimole.com\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.willclower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/soupbowl.jpg?w=735&#038;ssl=1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><strong>You\u2019ll Need: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 onion, chopped <\/li>\n<li>1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped (optional) <\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger <\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic <\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons ground cumin <\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp. salt <\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon <\/li>\n<li>1\/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper<\/li>\n<li>4 medium size sweet potatoes cut into 1 1\/2-inch chunks <\/li>\n<li>2, 14.5 ounce cans chopped tomatoes <\/li>\n<li>1 bunch kale, chopped <\/li>\n<li>4 cups vegetable broth<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup natural peanut butter <\/li>\n<li>\u00bd halved pecans <\/li>\n<li>\u00bc teaspoon cayenne <\/li>\n<li>\u00bd Tablespoon butter <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Directions:<br \/><\/strong><br \/>Place 1\/3 cup water, onion, jalapenos, ginger and garlic in a large pot.<\/div>\n<div>Cook, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.<\/div>\n<div>Add cumin, cinnamon, salt, and red pepper.<\/div>\n<div>Cook and stir for 1 minute.<\/div>\n<div>Add sweet potatoes, tomatoes, kale, vegetable broth, and peanut butter.<\/div>\n<div>Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. <\/div>\n<div><strong>Spiced, Toasted Pecans<br \/><\/strong>To spice up pecans:<\/div>\n<div>Melt \u00bd Tablespoon butter in pan <\/div>\n<div>Place \u00bc teaspoon of cayenne pepper and pecans in pan. <\/div>\n<div>Stir to coat pecans. <\/div>\n<div>After coated place on baking sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or just until toasted.<\/p>\n<p>Top each bowl of soup with some pecans and enjoy. <\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You\u2019ll Need: 1 onion, chopped 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped (optional) 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic 2 teaspoons ground cumin 1\/2 tsp. salt 1\/4 &hellip;
