{"id":359,"date":"2009-05-04T17:30:00","date_gmt":"2009-05-04T17:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.willclower.com\/blog\/2009\/05\/04\/lavender-lemonade-2\/"},"modified":"2017-02-02T12:22:49","modified_gmt":"2017-02-02T17:22:49","slug":"lavender-lemonade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mymedwellness.com\/blog\/?p=359","title":{"rendered":"Lavender Lemonade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Yields Approximately Ten One Cup Servings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>You\u2019ll Need <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 \u00bd Tablespoons dried lavender<\/li>\n<li>1 tray of ice cubes<\/li>\n<li>2 cups boiling water<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>The juice from 8 lemons<\/li>\n<li>5 cups cold water (you may want to add more to adjust for personal taste)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place the ice cubes into a pitcher that can hold at least 2 quarts.<\/li>\n<li>Put the lavender into a bowl, and pour the boiling water over it. Allow it to steep for approximately eight minutes. Then strain out the lavender and discard.<\/li>\n<li>Mix the sugar into the lavender water and then pour this mixture into the pitcher that contains the ice.<\/li>\n<li>Add the lemon juice to the pitcher.<\/li>\n<li>Then add the cold water and stir. Taste and adjust the sugar and water to your liking.
