{"id":345,"date":"2010-01-18T22:01:00","date_gmt":"2010-01-19T03:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.willclower.com\/blog\/2010\/01\/18\/delicious-fish-2\/"},"modified":"2017-02-02T12:00:10","modified_gmt":"2017-02-02T17:00:10","slug":"delicious-fish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mymedwellness.com\/blog\/?p=345","title":{"rendered":"Delicious Fish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><strong>You\u2019ll Need<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u00b7 2 pounds rockfish, halibut or cod filets (1\/2 or \u00be inch thick<br \/>\n\u00b7 Salt<br \/>\n\u00b7 Pepper<br \/>\n\u00b7 \u00bd cup cornmeal<br \/>\n\u00b7 \u00bd cup all-purpose flour<br \/>\n\u00b7 \u00bd cup buttermilk<br \/>\n\u00b7 \u00bc cup butter<br \/>\n\u00b7 \u00bc cup olive oil<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u00b7 Rinse fish and pat dry; cut into 6 to 8 equal pieces, if necessary<br \/>\n\u00b7 Sprinkle with salt and pepper<br \/>\n\u00b7 In a shallow bowl, combine cornmeal and flour.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Pour buttermilk into another shallow bowl.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Dip each piece of fish in buttermilk and drain briefly; then dip in cornmeal mixture to coat lightly on both sides.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Set aside.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Melt butter in oil in a wide frying pan over medium heat.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Add fish, arranging it in a single layer.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Cook, turning once, until browned on both sides and just opaque but still moist in thickest part. Cut to test.
