Preheat the oven to 400. Grease an 8 \u00bd x 4 \u00bd inch (6-cup) loaf pan. <\/b><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b>Whisk together in a large bowl:<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">1 cup whole-wheat flour<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">1 cup all-purpose flour<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00bd cup old-fashioned rolled oats<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">2 Tablespoons sugar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">2 teaspoons baking powder<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00bd teaspoon salt<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b>Add:<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto;\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">1 \u00bd cups light or dark beer (but not stout), cold or at room temperature but not flat.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Fold just until the dry ingredients are moistened.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Scrape the batter into the pan and spread evenly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center all the way to the bottom of the pan come out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Let cool in the pan on a rack for 5 to 10 minutes before unmolding to cool completely on the rack.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/willclowerblog.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img data-opt-id=655535121  fetchpriority=\"high\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0px currentColor;\" src=\"https:\/\/mlcmmqmgggev.i.optimole.com\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.willclower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/WillClowerOnTheCultureOfHealth.1-1.gif?w=735&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Will Clower Articles\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/willcloweraudio.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img data-opt-id=3462941  fetchpriority=\"high\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0px currentColor;\" src=\"https:\/\/mlcmmqmgggev.i.optimole.com\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.willclower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/WillClowerAudicles.1-1.gif?w=735&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Will Clower Audicles\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A participant requested a good beer bread recipe.
