Get your nutrients from whole foods first!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>You&#8217;ll Need<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 \u00bc cups canned low-salt chicken broth or vegetable broth<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd teaspoons Creole or Cajun seasoning<\/li>\n<li>1 cup white rice<\/li>\n<li>4 ounces kale (about \u00bd large bunch), stems and ribs removed, leaves coarsely chopped (2 cups packed)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring broth and Creole seasoning to a boil in heavy large saucepan.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in rice and kale and bring to boil.<\/li>\n<li>Reduce heat to low, cover and cook until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Kale is a great source of calcium. Calcium is a mineral that your body needs to maintain good health.
