Periodically, over the next 20 years, they reported on their physical activity levels.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\"><span style=\"line-height: 25px;\"><i><b>How did the MEN do?<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 1.5; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\"><span style=\"line-height: 25px;\">Men who were &#8220;habitually&#8221; highly active over that time put on about 6 fewer pounds, on average, than men who exercised consistently but at relatively low levels. Well this is true for activity as well. Apparently, research science has verified our common sense wisdom &#8230; just be consistent. &nbsp;And all THAT means is that<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;adults get at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise &#8212; like brisk walking &#8212; on five days out of the week.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">That&#8217;s it!!&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 22px;\">In fact, these researchers found that the men who consistently <i><b>got 30 minutes of exercise on five days out of the week<\/b><\/i> gained about 4 fewer pounds than their less-active counterparts.
