This shrimp dish provide some\u00a0unique and enjoyable flavors.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>You\u2019ll Need<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>2 tablespoons olive oil<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>1 cup finely chopped onion<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>4 garlic cloves, minced<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>2 teaspoons ground cumin<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>1 teaspoon dried oregano<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>1 cup water<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>\u00bc cup apple cider vinegar<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>2 tablespoons chopped canned chipotle chilies<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>1 \u00bd pounds uncooked jumbo shrimp, peeled, deveined<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>\u00bc cup orange juice<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>2 tablespoons golden brown sugar<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Directions<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Heat oil in heavy, medium skillet over medium heat.<\/li>\n<li>Add onion; saut\u00e9 until golden brown, about 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add garlic, cumin and oregano; stir 1 minute. Transfer mixture to blender. Add 1 cup water, vinegar and chipotle chilies to blender; puree until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer half of puree to medium bowl; cool.<\/li>\n<li>Add shrimp to bowl; toss to coat.<\/li>\n<li>Cover; chill 2 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Pour remaining puree into heavy medium saucepan. Add orange juice and brown sugar. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer until glaze is slightly thickened and reduced to \u00bd cup, about 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from heat. Cool.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Remove shrimp from marinade; pat dry with paper towels. Brush shrimp with some orange juice glaze. Grill shrimp until opaque in center, brushing occasionally with more glaze, about 2 minutes per side.
