I just looked at the heart disease rate in 17 countries (heart disease per 100,000 people<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">).<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Then, I found the average amount of dairy foods that these people are eating, per person, per year.&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Below, you will see the graphs of three kinds of dairy products, and the full&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">data set is down at the bottom of this post for:<\/span><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-9k3M6xUijNA\/T9yai_2zuOI\/AAAAAAAADZU\/b9uQoVZF27A\/s1600\/GraphButterVsHeartDisease.bmp\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img data-opt-id=1231879110  fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"203\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-9k3M6xUijNA\/T9yai_2zuOI\/AAAAAAAADZU\/b9uQoVZF27A\/s320\/GraphButterVsHeartDisease.bmp\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><u><b>Milk Products &#8230; Cheese &#8230; and Butter.<\/b><\/u><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">The question is this. <i>Does more dairy consumption lead to more heart disease?<\/i>&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">For the answer, on a population basis, check out these graphs. As consumption increases, what you see is that heart disease is either flat (does not increase), OR that it actually trends downward (is reduced).&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-Fg3mMbeZ4Eo\/T9yajne3p9I\/AAAAAAAADZc\/6aj4uI-y5g8\/s1600\/GraphCheeseVsHeartDisease.bmp\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img data-opt-id=1373464850  decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"218\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-Fg3mMbeZ4Eo\/T9yajne3p9I\/AAAAAAAADZc\/6aj4uI-y5g8\/s320\/GraphCheeseVsHeartDisease.bmp\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Maybe that&#8217;s because dairy products are associated with a reduction of the bad cholesterol, LDL.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/22585901\" target=\"_blank\">Here is the study.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">This very simple assessment strongly argues against the idea that dairy is bad for your heart. By the way, if you compare dairy consumption with calcium supplementation (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/22626900\" target=\"_blank\">Here is the study<\/a>), it&#8217;s the pills that increase the risk of myocardial infarction &#8230; not dairy.&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-U6T5Ga-cNnQ\/T9yakIExhUI\/AAAAAAAADZk\/KsYVo0YCWUQ\/s1600\/GraphMilkVsHeartDisease.bmp\" style=\"clear: left;
