Turkey has a lot of tryptophan. Tryptophan in your body can be converted to serotonin and then melatonin, both of which play roles in your sleep cycles.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">But serotonin is also involved in positive emotions, but no one is calling turkey the &#8220;Happy Food&#8221;. It helps move your food through your intestines, but no one is worried that turkey is going to cause too-rapid digestion!&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">So, don&#8217;t worry that you shouldn&#8217;t eat a drum stick and drive, because you&#8217;ll go into a narcoleptic coma at some random time. &nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">If you&#8217;re sleepy after your T-Day meal, it&#8217;s likely no different than any other lunchtime lull.
