I don&#8217;t eat a lot myself, so some of you are eating mine!&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">But given this sugar glut, shouldn&#8217;t we stop eating it and have zero calorie, artificial sweeteners instead?<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">The short answer is no.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">The longer answer is nooooooo.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Synthetic sweeteners can cause what one group of researchers called &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/23850261\" target=\"_blank\">metabolic derangement<\/a>&#8220;.
