Incorporate dill into your dishes with this delightful dill, carrot soup recipe.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>You&#8217;ll Need:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 large carrots, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 onion, chopped<\/li>\n<li>2 Tablespoons butter<\/li>\n<li>4 cups vegetable broth<\/li>\n<li>1 cup fresh dill<\/li>\n<li>2 Tablespoons pine nuts<\/li>\n<li>2 Tablespoons olive oil<\/li>\n<li>Salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saute carrots, onion, and dill seeds butter until tender about 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add 4 cups broth and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until carrots are very tender, about 35 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer soup to blender in batches and puree.<\/li>\n<li>Thin with more broth if desired.<\/li>\n<li>Season to taste with salt and pepper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pesto:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Combine fresh dill and pine nuts in processor and chop finely.<\/li>\n<li>Then, slowly add olive oil and process until well blended.<\/li>\n<li>Season to taste with salt and pepper.<\/li>\n<li>Ladle into bowls.<\/li>\n<li>Swirl pesto into soup bowls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many herbs are super cancer preventers.
