When time is short take advantage of the crock pot.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>You\u2019ll Need: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 Tablespoons olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 medium onion chopped<\/li>\n<li>2 garlic cloves minced<\/li>\n<li>28 ounce canned tomatoes including the liquid<\/li>\n<li>6 ounces tomato paste<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup dry white wine<\/li>\n<li>2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon dried oregano<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 pounds medium shrimp; peeled, deveined<\/li>\n<li>2 ounces feta cheese, crumbled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions: <\/strong><br \/>\nHeat oil in a saute pan and add the onion and garlic.<br \/>\nCook, stirring often, until the onion is softened, about 4 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Transfer to a 3 1\/2-quart slow cooker.<\/p>\n<p>Add the tomatoes with their puree and the tomato paste, wine, parsley, oregano and pepper.<br \/>\nCover and cook for6 to 8 hours on LOW.<\/p>\n<p>Then increase the heat to HIGH and add the shrimp.<\/p>\n<p>Cook just until the shrimp are firm and have turned pink, about 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Stir in the feta cheese and serve immediately over pasta or with some fresh bread.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"border-radius: 2px; text-indent: 20px; width: auto; padding: 0px 4px 0px 0px; text-align: center; font: bold 11px\/20px 'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,sans-serif; color: #ffffff; background: #bd081c no-repeat scroll 3px 50% \/ 14px 14px; position: absolute; opacity: 1; z-index: 8675309; display: none; cursor: pointer; top: 452px; left: 1420px;\">Save<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"border-radius: 2px; text-indent: 20px; width: auto; padding: 0px 4px 0px 0px; text-align: center; font: bold 11px\/20px 'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,sans-serif; color: #ffffff; background: #bd081c no-repeat scroll 3px 50% \/ 14px 14px; position: absolute; opacity: 1; z-index: 8675309; display: none; cursor: pointer; top: 20px; left: 1420px;\">Save<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s women&#8217;s health month and women are busy!
