Makes a wonderful homemade gift.<\/i><\/span><i><\/i><\/p>\r\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\r\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/mlcmmqmgggev.i.optimole.com\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.willclower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/biscotti.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-opt-id=1058675946  fetchpriority=\"high\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mlcmmqmgggev.i.optimole.com\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.willclower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/biscotti.jpg?w=735&#038;ssl=1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\r\n<div><b>You\u2019ll Need<\/b><\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"text-indent: -0.25in;\">2 cups all-purpose flour<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd cup plus 1 Tablespoon sugar<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00be cup blanched almonds, finely ground<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00be cup whole almonds, coarsely chopped (or other nut such as macadamia nuts, pecans or walnuts)<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon baking powder<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon baking soda<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon cinnamon<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/3 cup honey<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/3 cup water<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div style=\"mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-indent: -0.25in;\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n<div><b>Directions<\/b><\/div>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>\r\n<div>Preheat oven 350<\/div>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<div>Combine everything except honey and water and stir to mix. Next add in honey and water and stir until a firm dough forms. It may help to use your hands to mix dough.<\/div>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<div>Divide in half and form two narrow logs, approximately 12 to 14 inches in length.<\/div>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<div>Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.<\/div>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<div>Be sure to leave room between logs for spreading.<\/div>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<div>Bake until firm and risen approximately 20 minutes.<\/div>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<div>Take out of oven and let cool for 8 minutes. Then slice on a diagonal about \u00bd inch thick.<\/div>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<div>Slightly separate and bake another 15 to 20 minutes until lightly golden and fairly dry.
