{"id":15757,"date":"2026-09-30T05:00:49","date_gmt":"2026-09-30T09:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mymedwellness.com\/blog\/?p=15757"},"modified":"2026-09-28T14:46:30","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T18:46:30","slug":"quinoa-chocolate-crunchies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mymedwellness.com\/blog\/?p=15757","title":{"rendered":"Quinoa Chocolate Crunchies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>You&#8217;ll Need<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 ounces dark chocolate (70% or higher is preferred)<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup quinoa<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of coarse sea salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Heat a large skillet on medium high heat.<\/li>\n<li>Once it is heated, add in just enough quinoa to cover bottom without overcrowding pan. This is an important step so the key so make sure to use a big pan and work in stages.<\/li>\n<li>You will start to hear the quinoa pop and also notice them slightly jump.\u00a0 Keep moving pan around for a minute or so, so that they all pop.<\/li>\n<li>Then transfer into a bowl and continue with rest of quinoa (You will notice a nutty smell as the quinoa heats and pops. The size will not change but the quinoa will become slightly browned.).<\/li>\n<li>Now in a double broiler or microwave melt the chocolate.<\/li>\n<li>Once melted mix in the quinoa and salt.<\/li>\n<li>Place a piece of parchment paper in a baking dish or plate pour chocolate into quarter size circles.<\/li>\n<li>Then place in fridge to harden.<\/li>\n<li>Keep stored in fridge until you plan to enjoy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You&#8217;ll Need 3 ounces dark chocolate (70% or higher is preferred) 1\/4 cup quinoa Pinch of coarse sea salt Directions Heat a large skillet on medium high heat.
