Try this make ahead French toast<\/em><\/p>\n<div><strong>You\u2019ll Need<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\u00b7 12 eggs<br \/>\n\u00b7 2 cups milk<br \/>\n\u00b7 1 teaspoon lemon rind<br \/>\n\u00b7 1 teaspoon sugar<br \/>\n\u00b7 1 teaspoon vanilla<br \/>\n\u00b7 \u00bd teaspoon salt<br \/>\n\u00b7 \u00bc teaspoon cinnamon<br \/>\n\u00b7 8 slices of bread, cut on the diagonal<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Directions<\/strong><br \/>\n\u00b7 Grease 9 x 13&#8243; shallow baking dish; set aside.<br \/>\n\u00b7 In large bowl, beat together all ingredients except bread.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Arrange bread slices so they overlap.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Pour egg mixture over the bread.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Cover; refrigerate overnight.<br \/>\n\u00b7 When ready to serve, preheat oven to 350 degrees.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until golden and fluffy.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Serve with syrup or jam.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Looking for a breakfast for the out of town holiday guests?
