Now that it\u2019s fall, for our mental health we should take time in our day to smell the leaves!<\/p>\n<p>Being outdoors in a space with trees and leaves is actually beneficial for your mental health, as it has been shown to create a sense of calm, and even benefit heart health.<\/p>\n<p>As the autumn leaves turn and drop, they carry a lovely tannic aroma that defines the crisp cool change of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Taking the time to notice that aroma acts like a mini-meditation to mentally clear the air, so to speak, and create a calmer mind space.<\/p>\n<p>So get outside, and take time to smell the leaves!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You\u2019ve likely heard the adage that we should take time to smell the roses.
