The less you use the more intense the spice flavors will be).<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>1 Tablespoon water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a large skillet or pot that can be covered, add 1 3\/4 teaspoons oil and heat at medium-low. Once hot, Add garlic, ginger, and onion. Mix, cook for approximately 4 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add the cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, cloves and black pepper. Mix and heat for 3 minutes to infuse the oil.<\/li>\n<li>Next add the carrots, and potato and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Add cabbage a 1\/2 teaspoon salt, and 1 tablespoon water. Mix well, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Stir once around 7 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add another 1\/2 teaspoon of salt, and the rest of the olive oil and mix.
