Sweet potatoes or plain, carrots or butternut squash, beets \u2026 you get the picture!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The same is true for the seasonings. After S&amp;P, you can spice it up specific to your tastes. Cumin, rosemary, and thyme bring out the earthy, wonderful flavors of the root veggies.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Here&#8217;s Where The Magic Happens<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The 1 ingredient that takes this from good to great to amazing is the sesame oil. Instead of using olive or vegetable or other oil, substitute in sesame oil. OMG, it&#8217;s so nutty and savory you&#8217;ll notice the difference right away, and never look back!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">You&#8217;ll Need:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">1 cup each of the root veg medley of your choice (carrots, parsnips, sweet potatoes, beets, turnips, etc), peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">2 tablespoons sesame oil<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">2 cloves garlic, minced<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">1 teaspoon dried thyme<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">1 teaspoon dried rosemary<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Salt and pepper to taste<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">What To Do<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Preheat <\/span><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">your oven to 400\u00b0F (200\u00b0C).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Prep the Veg:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Peel and chop the root vegetables into evenly sized, bite-sized pieces. This ensures even cooking.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Season the Vegetables:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In a large bowl, toss the chopped vegetables with the oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper. Ensure that the vegetables are well-coated with the seasonings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Spread on Baking Sheet:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Spread the seasoned vegetables in a single layer on a baking sheet.
