Thank you Sue!\u00a0What a fantastic way to enjoy a cholesterol lowering food.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\"><strong>You\u2019ll Need<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\">1 winter squash (acorn or butternut)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\">Butter<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\">Maple syrup or Honey<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"margin: 0px;\"><b><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\">Directions<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\">Cut in half lengthwise and s<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\">coop out the seeds.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\">Place cut side down in a covered baking pan with enough water to barely cover the bottom of the pan.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\">Bake @ 350 degrees until tender, about 30-45 for acorn squash and about 1 hour for a large butternut squash.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\">Test for tenderness with a fork.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\">Turn the squash halves over and brush with butter and drizzle with honey or maple syrup.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'verdana' , sans-serif;\">Bake for a \u00a0few more minutes and serve warm.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Submitted by Sue at HHM.
