We also know that they help reinforce those positive behaviors in the first place.<\/p>\n<p>More importantly, even if a person does not naturally express positive emotions as much, they can still get the benefit of expressing positive emotions by simply making an effort.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, by making a choice to express positive emotions (whenever you are able), you essentially train your brain to become more positive, on its own.
