Its title warns of the &#8220;Devastating Ways Depression and Anxiety Impact the Body&#8221;, but under-performs on its promise. It does cover this in a couple of paragraphs buried in the middle, and that&#8217;s fine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But honestly the best part of this article is casually made a few times through its sections, referring to the mind and body as a two-way street. This a apt metaphor is a perfect way to look at the relationship between your physical and mental self.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Physical illness has been shown to lead to conditions like depression and anxiety. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>But, depression and anxiety have been shown to lead to physical illness as well. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Knowing this can help us understand and then make sense of what can go on in our body and mind.
